Analog Trees marks the arrival of Germain’s third full studio album, clocking in at a total of 38 minutes, and 32 seconds. This record showcases the multitude of sounds Germain has been developing over the years of songwriting exploration and paves a path for the future sound of Germain’s compositional direction. While punk and metal influence the heavy guitar tones and hard-hitting drums, song structure stems from songwriter pop mixed with hard rock approaches to song form, with the occasional experimentation of time, key, and tempo changes. Analog Trees launched with lead singles, “Stress Music (Feat, Dan Santos)”, and “Predictable”, under Chinatown Records, serving as the first releases under the newly established record label.
